Community to benefit from build

 

Excitement is building as Mangawhai’s new $700,000 St John ambulance station takes a more permanent shape.

The multi-functional facility will contain a training room, ambulance bay, reception area, crew dining and living quarters, study/library and managers office.

Outside will be a vehicle wash area and car park.

Station manager Kay Carey says the new station is due to open this month.
