The Rodney College golf team of Aaron Allot, Tarin Rous and Jack Oldfield has recently won the Northland section of the national secondary school golf qualifier tournament held at Whangarei Golf Club, where the three best gross scores count.
This win means they are eligible to represent Northland in the national schools competition at Hastings in September. In the meantime, Tarin Rous is preparing for the World Golf Championship, held this year at the Pinehurst course in North Carolina late July.
