Book GiveawayJust a year after publishing her first book, Whangarei's Madison Macmillan has hit the book shelves again - and there is more to come. The 8-year-old has released her second book, 'The Good Baby and the Hairy Monster', and will again donate a portion of sales to the Northland Rescue Helicopter Service. Madison, an ambassador for Northland's Rescue Choppers, donated $750 from the sales of her first book 'The Good Baby and the Bad Hippo' in 2018. She has teamed up with Whangarei firefighter and illustrator Adam Anderson to breathe life into the Hairy Monster. "It is very exciting having another book published. I love writing and having fun writing adventurous stories and it is nice to see other people enjoying m books." says Madison. The Focus has some copies of 'The Good Baby and the Hairy Monster' and also 'Cheeky Charlie to the rescue' to give away. First in, first served. Email name, postal address and phone to infor@mangawhaifocus.co.nz for a free kids story. |
