Band to celebrate album release

 

Since forming in 2018, local 6-piece band Sojourn has built up a solid following performing at big summer festivals and popular live venues from Northland to the Waikato.

Featuring James Finlay, Annaree Peters, Jim Bokma, Tony Baker, Elias Giles, and Isaac Hunter, the band is a fusion surf rock reggae ensemble with beats and tunes inspired by musical greats of the reggae, dub and funk genres.

Now, after a couple of singles in late 2018 and March 2019, the band has released their debut self-titled EP, Sojourn, and will celebrate with a release knees-up at the Mangawhai Tavern on Saturday May 25, 8pm. Tickets $10.
