Opinion judgmental
Having just read your opinion piece in the Focus (28 Feb edition) it felt as though I had the NZ Herald in my hand. What a judgemental piece of work, so sad seeing this in what always was a much more balanced and middle of the road publication.

It is quite clear that you have zero idea about what devastation these mandates have brought about on businesses, families, relationships and mental health.

Have you actually taken the time to personally, face to face, speak to one of those impacted by these harsh and cruel mandates? (Be kind) Yeah right Jacinda!

Have you spoken to someone denied access to their dying parent, partner, because they opted not to take the mandated government experimental injection, or spoken to honest hard-working Kiwis who contributed to society through skills and knowledge gained in their fields, now sacked for the same reason?

Or to a grandparent who is now barred from taking their grandchildren to the library, movies, cafes, and museum for the same reasons?

I am so grateful to see that there are hundreds of thousands, possibly over 1.5 million Kiwis according to a recent poll, who totally support the protestors for these very reasons, and am happy also, to realise that after all, your piece, is just "your" opinion after all.

By the way, your publication is the worse off for not having Prof Worzel's contribution any longer.

Pandemic problems
I applaud your editors opinion in the Focus (28 Feb edition). Couldn’t have said it better. It seems that anyone who has a problem with anything is having a go at Jacinda. It’s unrealistic to expect to not be inconvenienced by something as huge as a pandemic, and if we were overseas looking back here, we would see how well we have it in the big scheme of things.
