Hospice Helpers

North Haven Hospice is calling for volunteers to train in Nurturing Touch palliative massage and deliver this service to patients and carers in local communities.

Full training is provided by a qualified professional, as well as ongoing support and supervision. Regular networking within the group is required, and volunteers are supplied with a massage kit. Following training, a commitment of at least a year to the programme is appreciated.

The final training session for 2017 will be held on Monday September 25, 10am - 4pm in the Kauri Room at North Haven Hospice, 24A Takahe Street, Tikipunga.
