Mangawhai entrepreneur Liz Holsted was left with a lot of crockery, candlesticks and fine linen but no longer catering for weddings. “Its far too good to dump or sell on Trade Me,” says Liz “so arise Vintage Picnics. I’m used to being inventive when it comes to food and taking picnics to the people seemed a good idea.”

A dab hand in the kitchen, Liz prepares three fresh and tasty options for customers who may be out bike riding, walking, at the beach or who would
like something romantic in their own backyard.

Order a picnic of choice from Liz’s range of three - breakfast, lunch or a sundowner complete with antipasto and wine delivered on site in traditional retro basket together with crockery, cutlery, serviettes and linen.

Twenty four hours notice and a small refundable deposit on the basket is all that’s required. Tradition never dies and with a resurgence of things retro we think Vintage Picnics will be a winner.
