Beach, Bach & Beyond is a retro lifestyle store where memories are rekindled and young collectors are created by a casual browse among special things – special things you would love to have without even realising it. 

A passionate retrophile, Mary Kelleher is a fossiker extraordinaire. She has a nose for weird and wonderful kitchenalia and beach/bach bric-a-brac, which remain in family holiday memories long after their original owners have passed on. 

Her ability to modify and mix and match colours and fabrics often in nostalgic storytelling make this an ideal place for family browsing, that great holiday pastime!

Old New Zealand brand names, furniture and pre-automation pieces, now long defunct, form the basis of a coffee table centrepiece, artwork or are resurrected to find a new use. Even if you’re not in buying mode Beach, Bach & Beyond is a source of entertainment and wonder. 

Mary is re-opening her retro lifestye store – a shop within her home – at her newly built location at 3 Sailrock Drive on January 5. Until then you can find Mary’s mix of old and new at Naja Garden Centre, The Hub, Mangawhai Village.
