Business going pretty sweet for friends
Local woman Gainor Kerrigan (pictured left) and her best friend, Maree, have started a new business called Pretty Sweet, setting up candy buffets of sweet treats for birthday parties, functions and weddings. They also have a candy stall at the Mangawhai market most Saturdays. It’s a visual delight with glass jars full of brightly coloured lollies and sweets including Kiwi favourites such as milk bottles, spearmint leaves, aniseed wheels, Eskimos and jaffas. - Julia West
