New book comes to life

Returning to the area two years ago to live and work full time, well-known homeopath and multi-talented businesswoman, Donna Flavell, has put pen to paper in writing a self-help, self-empowerment book.

The book complements a range of 28 Essences of D’Light and Wisdom Cards that have been created here in Mangawhai since 1999.

Essences of D’Light  will be officially launched at the Mangawhai Museum on January 11 from 6.30pm.

The Essences of D’Light is a range of vibrational essences, and may include flowers and plants, crystal and colour essences, plus those from the sea, solar, etheric and universal realms and specific homeopathic remedies.

These essences are designed to awaken the possibility of a full life, where change starts to happen and life balance returns.

Donna’s book also contains some fabulous images of Mangawhai from the Mangawhai Artists Association, other talented local artists within the community, and  published works from two students at Mangawhai Beach School. 

“It has been a wonderful collaboration and I am pleased to be able to publish it with the contributions and support of  local people,” says Donna.
