Make carols at CauseWay a Christmas Eve tradition
ONE VOICE: Hundreds fill the Rec Centre every year for Christmas Eve carols.
We all know that Mangawhai overflows with people at Christmas time and nowhere moreso than at the Mangawhai Recreation Centre on Christmas Eve. Last year saw over 1300 people flood through the doors of the gym that had been transformed into a lighting extravaganza, creating that special Christmas mood! There was certainly a buzz in the air as so many from our community put aside their Christmas preparations and joined together to sing carols, and enjoy the hour that unfolded under the canopy of fairy lights. With plenty of laughter and a good dose of singing, fun was had by all ages and to top it off, everyone went home with a gift. There is no better way to start your Christmas than by attending one of the three Christmas Eve Services – 6pm, 8pm and 10pm at the Mangawhai Recreation Centre by the school. Don’t let another year pass before experiencing what so many have made a tradition over the past 14 years in Mangawhai. Be sure to give yourself plenty of time to park on the field and be seated for the opening item. See you there with bells on. |
