Variety store to open in Mangawhai
BIG RANGE: Affordable and useful products are the feature her new business says Tami Harrold. The latest establishment to open in Mangawhai, believe it or not, won’t be serving food of any description. Tami Harrold is putting her years of retail experience to good use in opening a multi-purpose shop in the Carters complex at the Village and opens the doors to the public this Saturday December 8 at 9.30am. Bazaar World is much more than just a ‘shop’ but something less than an open-air market with snake charmers and goat vendors as in some parts of the world! It is rather a store in which many kinds of goods are offered for sale with the aim of affordable products that everyone needs, wants and wishes for! Bazaar World will incorporate knick-knacks, bric-a-brac, fun and learning toys, artwork and supplies, stationery, furniture, useful household items and a host of other general-use items you may not think much about until you really need them. They will also stock a range of great Christmas gift ideas, home brew supplies and items for summer fun. Tami’s stock is predominantly imported from the US, but will also incorporate some locally sourced products. Bazaar World is sure to attract a lot of interest from locals and visitors over the summer who have the time to browse casually and without the pressure of pushy salespeople or Christmas deadlines. In fact, new items will be coming in all the time, so you’ll need to check back regularly to see what’s new. Given the current state of the economy it’s good to see there are still some people about with the confidence in their own ability, to take the plunge into business and be a part of the variety which puts the magic into Mangawhai. |
