Skydive carnival drops in on Kauri CoastSkydive Ballistic Blondes are returning to the Kauri Coast this coming weekend for an action-packed adrenaline-filled three day extravaganza. From November 23-25, the Northland-based adventure tourism company, in conjunction with the Otamatea Aero Club, will be setting up base at Ruawai airfield, after an original weekend of festivities was washed out in August. Tandem skydives from 12,000 feet, student skydive training, fun sports jumps and an impressive display of swooping along the ground will be some of the fun activities on offer to the public. Passengers can expect amazing scenic views of the Northern Wairoa River and the entire Kaipara region, and a feeling like nothing else as they fly up to altitude then speed back down to earth at over 220 kph! To get involved, come and say hi to the friendly team who will be based at the airfield for all three days or give them a ring on 0800 NZ JUMP. Bookings are already filling fast to get in early to secure your jump. |
