Home with the spoils

Waipu’s Fiona Southorn is back home after winning New Zealand’s first medal of the 2012 London Paralympics, a bronze medal in the C5 individual pursuit.

The local real estate agent is justifiably thrilled with the result after many long hours of training and dedication. 

Boasting that she’s getting better with age, Fiona is already looking ahead to Rio 2016!
