Thanks to all
I would like to offer my sincere and grateful thanks to all who have helped me over the past months of shut down as I have been confined in a bubble of one plus my dog.

To all my neighbours and residents in my street, who offer any services that they can offer – like changing a light bulb or posting a letter, to all the dog walkers who stop to talk when I’m in the garden, to the fair-haired early walker who takes the papers from my letterbox and puts them on my door mat, to those who look up and wave as they pass when they see me, so I do not feel that I am alone.

Thanks also go to my next-door neighbor who came over to make sure that I was ok when she found I was quite disoriented during the recent storm and all the lights went out, helping me find torches and light candles as I stumbled around.

Thanks also go to the police, firemen, postman and all the St John workers who continue to work and keep us safe.
