Youth variety show for the whole family

Any young musicians with a penchant for taking their talents to a higher level should attend the Spring Symphony Variety Show at the Waipu Coronation Hall early next month.

It promises to be a show with a terrific line-up of local and national talent.

Top of the bill is Aotea Sinfonietta, a group of young musicians training to be in New Zealands Premier Youth Aotea Orchestra.

Well known and loved Circool Circus will be up to their usual tricks as well as some new ones, and will include Waipu’s very own circus troupe. Making A Scene, Whangarei's Drama and Voice Academy will also be raising eyebrows. Bream Bay’s Battle of the Bands contenders ‘The Nerds’ will fill a musical spot and Art n Tartan youths will provide a feast for the eyes with some incredible crafty talent. Ceremonies will be handled by Ruakaka's MC Briggz who promises to lay some of his G raps down for the crowd. It's going to be a great show.
