Museum thanks volunteers

The Board of the Mangawhai Museum and Historical Society Inc. hosted a Christmas BBQ for their volunteers and partners on December 12. Over 120 people attended the event, which included musical entertainment from the Do Re Me Quartet.

As a volunteer organisation, it is important for them to know their time and effort is valuable to the museum and much appreciated says museum manager Emma Gray. “They are an integral part of the day-to-day running. Without the museum volunteers, we would simply be unable to operate.”
