Easter showcase for popular gallery

Continuing with the flow of successful art shows at the Moir street gallery, Mangawhai Artists Inc (MAI) have collaborated once again to showcase more of the creative talent that resides in the area.

Beginning on Good Friday, the ‘Easter Show’ exhibition will be on display from March 25 to April 18 and will feature through the popular Art Trail and Walking Weekend on April 2.

MAI president Jan Grover said the gallery was already proving itself a popular community asset and an important ‘home’ for local artists.

“The Easter Show will help consolidate the great start we’ve made and highlight for locals and visitors the quality works being produced in our community."

Pictured is Sunrise over the Century by Mangawhai artist Colin Unkovich whose work will feature in Easter Show.
