Appalled, disappointed
I was appalled to read Worzel’s World in the September 7 issue of Mangawhai Focus. Such ‘opinions’ do not help bring a nation together to fight this appalling pandemic.

Covid-19 is not a “sickness that has been proved beyond doubt to be less virulent than seasonal influenza”. This is a world-wide pandemic, not something the Labour party has dreamed up and the long lasting effects of this illness on those who contracted it is yet to be determined. I am not a Labour supporter, but feel that they have done the very best to cope with a totally unknown situation.

This column is inflammatory and likening the actions of this government to Hitler’s Germany is destructive. I am disappointed that you allowed this article to be published and that you support such a controversial columnist.
