Info centre launches new website

A new website, mangawhaiinfo.co.nz, launched under the umbrella of Mangawhai Information Centre/Community hub is aiming to be a go-to, one-click site to enable everyone to access the community organisations available in Mangawhai together with general information.

“One click and you will be able to source all the contact details, website or Facebook page of the selected organisations featured together with general information on walks and maps,” says volunteer Val Cleaver.

Hard copies will still be available at the info centre building on Molesworth Drive, Mangawhai Heads, at the entrance to the bowls and golf clubs.

“After a very successful meeting with local organisations in November last year, we decided to make our centre into a one stop information community hub,” adds Cleaver.

It didn’t hurt that a little financial help also came their way.

“We were successful in obtaining a grant from the Mangawhai Opportunity Shop to be able to fund this venture.”

The Information Centre is open from 11am-2pm each day until Easter, then 11am-2pm Thursday-Saturday during the winter months.
