Bayleys to ignite local property sceneLocal property management company Ignite Property NZ Ltd has been completely taken over by Bayleys in the North (Mackys Real Estate Ltd) and nobody could be happier about the arrangement than Ignite founder Julie Beaumont.
Ignite was founded in 2014 by Julie Beaumont and Laurie Lowther and quickly grew to be a strong competitor in the North Rodney/Kaipara rental market. Seeing the potential of Ignite and the potential in providing a complimentary service to real estate sale, Bayleys in the North’s Mark Macky and Kirsty Stevenson approached Julie and Laurie to buy Laurie out of the business. “Coming under the Bayleys umbrella not only means Ignite now has access to all Bayleys resources, but also means the company has been able to expand its residential property services beyond Warkworth and Wellsford,” says Julie. “We are now servicing properties from Puhoi in the south to Ruakaka in the north plus an additional service to a wider range of property owners.” Julie will continue as property manager with the company along with fellow managers Shona Mackinnon and Joelene MacGillivray, a trio with more than 30 years property management experience between them, and who provide a full range of property management services. With changing trends in many areas of property sales, letting and management, there are legislation changes which need to be fully understood by both owners and lessees, from the drafting of agreements to managing property maintenance. The team can advise landlords on all their rights and responsibilities regarding such things as health and safety, and the correct processes to follow to end a tenancy. Rebranding is currently taking place, email addresses will change to reflect the Bayleys branding and the team will be identified driving newly branded cars around the district, but otherwise contact information will remain the same.
