Help celebrate your museumMangawhai Museum is fast becoming a must-see attraction.
The museum has a tremendous amount of support from its over 100 volunteers, its members and the local community – but they still need to fundraise in order to keep the doors open. While the book fairs, raffles, Bows & Bells event, antique fairs and other fundraisers remain popular, the fundraising and events committee have been busy planning the Dinner & Auction scheduled for Saturday August 18 and will be held at the museum. This event is being made possible by the sponsorship of Barfoot & Thompson Mangawhai. Tickets are limited so make sure you get a group of friends together to enjoy the evening and chase way the winter blues. Dress is semi-formal. Tickets $75 per head (or $580 for a table of eight) and includes a three course dinner, complimentary drinks on arrival and both live and silent auctions including art, pottery, lunch for eight at Josh Emmett's restaurant, Madam Woo in Takapuna, and tickets to the Matakana Sculptureum. For more information or to purchase tickets, either pop in and see staff at the museum or visit mangawhai-museum.org.nz/whats-on |
