In November 2019, Computers Plus and MK Rentals co-located to Unit 2 in the Hub at the Village. The new location has proved to be great for both companies with its central location and off-street parking being highly accessible for customers.

With the growth of computerisation in most facets of our lives, and the growth of Mangawhai, a local computer business has become an essential service.

David and Rachel Hodge bought Computers Plus in February 2018 and since then have extended the products and services offered, including becoming a Microsoft Partner.

The family-owned business covers the Wellsford to Waipu area offering a full range of IT products and services for business and residential customers including computer sales (new and refurbished), network solutions, email and web hosting, MS Office 365 for Business. Computer repairs for both PC and MAC.

In this current environment security and protection are very important, hence another key focus for Computers Plus is anti-virus/malware protection/removal, managed back-up services and password management.

David has over 30 years’ experience in a wide range of IT technology and services, having worked for large international IT firms like IBM and small start-ups. Rachel brings a wealth of experience in information management and analytics, with Microsoft Office being a specialty. Both are big believers in process improvement and enjoy delivering solutions that work.

MK Rentals
MK Rentals manages all properties and tenants locally using leading edge systems and property management software. A family-operated business since March 2016, and with both owners and administrators having lived in Mangawhai for a number of years, there’s a good combined knowledge of the area and good relationships with local tradespeople.

MK Rentals Property Management provides a quality of service covering Wellsford to Waipu, that is unique to the industry, and delivers a distinct competitive advantage.

Having a local presence and knowledge of the area results in a better understanding of owner and tenant requirements allowing a quick response to their changing needs.
