Teeters give hope for long term back pain25 April, 2022
There is now hope for people who suffer with chronic back and neck issues. A team of top neurosurgeons in the UK took a group of patients who were scheduled for spinal surgery for sciatica and lumbar disc disease and treated them with the Teeter inversion tables. This study found that if the Teeters were used daily, they reduced the need for surgery by over 50 percent. Reading the study, the exact number surgery avoided was 78 percent. The study was published in the Journal of Physical Therapy in November 2021. Dave Hare, who started inversion New Zealand, had 20 years of degenerated discs. He tried a Teeter when overseas and was pain free for the first time in 12 years, the relief only lasted a short time but the more he used it the longer the relief lasted, until he was pain free within three months. It was then Inversion NZ was born as he had a desire to share them with New Zealand. Inversion NZ have been promoting the Teeter Inversion Tables in New Zealand for the last 15 years. Attending home and agricultural shows throughout the country, they treat and show people how to use them properly for the many different issues they are great for. A few years ago Inversion NZ started putting on their own expos, realising a lot of people who suffered with serious back issues had difficulty driving long distances to major centers or even walking around a show. The expos are now held in local towns all over New Zealand, have seating, are more relaxed, and people can watch and see how the Teeters work and try them for themselves. If you have back or neck pain issues, go along for a free treatment and actually see and feel how inversion works.
