Mangawhai Vets supports bush fire victimsWith animal welfare uppermost in their minds, Mangawhai’s Vet Centre opened donations in support of those suffering the effects of the recent Australian bushfires. Both clients and well-wishers were generous in their support. “Our incredible clients managed to donate $3000 in three days for the fire relief efforts in Australia,” said spokesperson Alex Loupelle. “Combined with a $500 donation from The Vet Centre, we were able to send $3500 worth of much needed and in-demand vet supplies to our friends working so hard in Australia. There has been an enormous wave of support across the country and we should all be proud to be part of that movement." The Vet Centre would like to say massive thanks to everyone who contributed to the Australian Bushfire cause. With the donations from clients and members their contributions have added a great range of veterinary supplies to help Australia in their quest to bring relief and support to their wounded wildlife. |
