Driven by his wife’s devastating medical diagnosis, a dedicated husband took to Mangawhai’s greens from dawn to dusk recently, belting his way through 72 holes of golf in a bid to raise some cancer-fighting cash.

 

As the morning sun crawls into the Mangawhai sky today, much of America, and the world, is drawing a collective sigh of relief as Joe Biden is inaugurated as the 46th President of the United States.

 

Kia Ora, Happy new year greetings to you as we roar on further into the Twenties. Already it's lining up to be a cracker of a year for Kaipara District Council.

 

The Ministry for Primary Industries (MPI) is funding a new marae-based project to help Kaipara residents grow their own food.

The new Mangawhai Art Workspace is a teaching space that provides Mangawhai artists and community with a wealth of possibilities.

An award-winning local author’s new book based on the curious theme of transitional space is set to launch in Mangawhai early February, with residents given a chance to receive a free copy.
