Janelle fights to the end

 

JANELLE PENJUELI, April 7 1973 – May 17 2018

The team at the Focus would like to acknowledge the sad passing of Mangawhai woman, Janelle Penjueli on May 17.

Janelle’s story of her courageous fight against a formidable cancer and her determined will to live to spend as much time with her three young daughters, husband George and family, featured in the Focus’s October 16 issue last year. 

Known for her warmth, generosity, kindness and abundant ability to give, the outpouring of support and donations from the community reflected how Janelle affected others, through her involvement in school, sports, Save Te Arai, church, her hairdressing business and her marae, becoming a friend and confidante to many. 

We offer our heartfelt condolences to Janelle’s family and friends in their time of grief. 

Farewell Janelle, rest in peace.
