Young performing artists to show off talent


Young artists will be showing off their talents in Waipu's Coronation Hall next week in the third annual Spring Symphony Youth Variety Show. 

Top of the bill is Auckland's Sinfonietta orchestra – 18 musicians aged 8 to 13 years playing themes from the Lord of the Rings and collaborating with Waipu's Circool Circus to present Harry Potter.

Council signs funding agreement from Provincial Growth Fund


In February 2019 at Otamatea Marae PM Jacinda Ardern, with the support of Minister Shane Jones, announced funding from the Provincial Growth Fund (PGF) to increase resources to support regional economic growth for the Kaipara region.
