Another convincing win for netballers

Continuing their impressive unbeaten run so far following five pre-season games, Otamatea Senior 1 (in green) had a convincing win over Manawanui Collegiate Red 45-23 in the first round of the championship proper at the Whangarei Netball Centre last weekend.

The Otamatea High School team are playing in the top College A1 grade.

Eight teams in the grade will play a round robin of seven games with the top two teams playing off on finals day for the trophy. Otamatea Senior 1 are looking like strong contenders to make the finals given their form to date.
