The extremely popular Mangawhai Artists Christmas Exhibition is on again, opening the evening of Thursday December 6. The Christmas exhibition is a marvellous opportunity to buy affordable, original art and solve your gift buying dilemmas, or as many of last year’s buyers did, treat yourself and buy art for your own home. 

“We encourage people to come along as soon as possible so they can catch some great art before it’s snapped up by people in the know, and we have lots of regular customers who are eagerly anticipating the Christmas exhibition,” says Mary-Anne Boyd, Mangawhai Artists Inc. chair. “During the Christmas exhibition, as work is sold it leaves the gallery and is replaced by new art so there is always something fresh to view and so much tempting art.”

Nothing is priced over $150 which makes it affordable for gift buying or owning original art yourself. 

“Many of our Mangawhai customers are becoming collectors – seeking out their favourite artists or images of our beautiful surroundings.”

Mangawhai Artists Gallery is run by Mangawhai Artists for Mangawhai Artists and does not charge their members commission, so the artists will receive the full sale price. 

All are welcome to come along to the opening at 6pm which doubles as a Christmas party.  It will be the first opportunity to purchase fantastic art and join Mangawhai Artists Member’s in celebrating a great year and exciting plans for the future.
