'Stylish' art on display

They say art is in the eye of the beholder, and this Labour Weekend a group of local artists are hoping it's your eye they catch. Art group Stylish Collective, who exhibit within the Stylish Homes show home, are happy to be sharing their varied works.

Whether you are new to the area, weekenders visiting or long time locals they hope you call in to the show home on the corner of Estuary and Molesworth Drive, Mangawhai Heads.

Their works include many mediums, and this year they will also be joined by guest artist Deb Hunter-Whitlock from Waipu, an art school graduate who paints mainly landscapes, is influenced by her surrounding natural beauty, and truly loves painting in oil. She was a first place winner in the 2021 Kaipara Arts Awards.

The Stylish Collective are all members of Mangawhai Artists Inc and also members of the very encouraging Monday Art Group. The exhibition will be open from October Saturday 22 and Sunday 23, 10am–4pm.
