Interest already growing for Ramble

Just like a clothing retailer, gardeners need to think a couple of seasons ahead, especially those who want to be in fashion or, in this case, prepare their gardens for this year’s Mangawhai Garden Ramble.

Preparations by organisers are now underway for what is the major fundraiser for the Mangawhai Kindergarten and Plunket groups.

Held over the weekend of November 19-20, the 2016 event aims to build on the success of the many previous rambles which, thanks to the support and generosity of the local community, have been held in Mangawhai and around for more than a decade.

The committee have been fortunate to secure major sponsorship once again from Palmers Planet and already have several persons and organisations offering their gardens for show and offering support.

The Garden Ramble team will be contacting local gardeners and businesses over the coming months to generate interest and support for this vital fundraising event.
