In this exhibition by two diversely different artists, Angela Buchannan and Edie Chappell each expresses their subject matter and explores diverse substrates and techniques. Using paints and mixed media, Angela Buchannan and Edie Chappell have filled Mangawhai Artists Gallery with wonderful images – from abstracts that intrigue and windows with visions of Mangawhai.

Edie Chappell builds up her work through an intuitive layering technique that leans towards the abstract.

Angela Buchanan's large glass works made from recycled windows have Mangawhai beach themed photographic images, inviting the viewer to look outside the window and bring the outside inside. Angela is also showing limited edition canvases of Mangawhai beach images.
