Italian theme for fire brigade fundraiser

When does a popular local French chef choose to turn his French Mangawhai restaurant Italian?

Well, David Bonometti (note the Italian surname), his partner Nathalie, and staff are going to be doing just that solely to support the Mangawhai Volunteer Fire Brigade by raising much needed funds towards their new station build project.

David and his dedicated team will be forsaking the blue, white and red of the French flag for Italian green, white and red table settings, and perfecting his pasta skills.

Guests will be offered a specially priced three-course Italian meal for only $33 per head on two separate nights – Friday October 13 and Saturday October 14.

Wine, coffee and non-alcoholic drinks will be available at additional individual cost.

It promises to be a fun night out. Show your support for the local fire brigade with friends and family for a group booking.

Space is limited so diners need to book now to avoid missing out on a special Italian occasion.
