Mangawhai Singers impress at fundraiser

 

On the evening of Saturday October 27 the Mangawhai Singers traveled to Maungaturoto Country Club, performing a medley of songs to an appreciative audience of around 150, part of a Riverview Rest Home fundraiser by the Maungaturoto Community Charitable Trust (MCCT).

The audience was blown away by the variety of songs and pure professionalism of the Mangawhai Singers, which includes Bill Cullen who is on the fundraising committee of the MCCT. 

Over $4000 was raised from the evening, a welcome addition to the fundraising effort. As many are aware, the goal is much larger, but with evenings like this where the community gets to partake in an evening of great entertainment and can contribute to the cause, it’s a win-win.

The MCCT sincerely thank all the members of the Mangawhai Singers, Bill Cullen, and the audience for providing such a fun night.
