See Art n Tartan up close, two days onlyIf you were lucky enough to buy a ticket for the 2018 Art n Tartan Wearable Art show in Waipu this year you’ll be pleased to know that there will be an exhibition of the artworks in the Celtic Barn on November 10-11 where you will be able to examine the garments up close and learn how they were constructed. Over 20 amazing entries will be there including Carole Hebberd’s Supreme Winner Me and My Shadow, and visitors will be able to examine the over 500 transparent Monarch butterflies included in Carole’s design. Alarnya Ashby’s Ravioli Rose will also be on display and Robyn Coutts’ K atiaki, both winners of their individual categories. There will also be the chance for designers to pick up an entry form for next year and discover details of the exciting new categories for 2019. Members of the organising team will be on hand to answer any queries. The exhibition runs from 10am to 2pm each day and entry will be by gold coin donation. |
