Team jumps to podium spot

The Rodney College equestrian team of (from left) Monique Balfour, Tamara Marshall, Paige Rynne, and Brooklyn Wilson has placed a commendable 2nd in the North Island Secondary Schools Show Jumping Champs held in Cambridge a fortnight ago.

Tamara was 1st in both the Accumulator and Showjump in the 1-1.05m ring, Monique 8th in the Accumulator and 9th Showjump, and pairing up in the Jigsaw to come 3rd.

Brooklyn and Paige paired up in the 80-90cm ring placing 3rd in the Jigsaw.

The team had a brilliant day, proud of their effort among 25 teams and over 80 riders.
