BNZ offers satellite serviceStaff from the local BNZ branch will be trialling a new option of engaging with Mangawhai residents on their own turf this August and September. Starting this week, team members from the BNZ Warkworth branch will spend Wednesday afternoons at the Mangawhai Museum for customers and residents who would like to speak to a banking advisor. Store manager Karina Williams said that the trial did not cover transactional banking, and instead was more about broader conversations for more complex financial products and services. “These days we find, more and more, our customers do their banking online. In fact, digital transactions – internet banking or through our app – now makes up 89 percent of our customer transactions. “At the same time, we are trying to get the balance right and meet the needs of our customers. So, what we can offer customers with this trial is the opportunity to talk to us about their KiwiSaver, term deposits and savings, home lending, credit cards or insurance,” said Ms Williams. “Almost half our branch staff are from Mangawhai, so there will be some familiar faces at the Museum to help our customers.” Mangawhai residents who are interested in making an appointment can do so by contacting Karina Williams (09 425 0800, karina_williams@bnz.co.nz) or Winny Medland (09 425 0806, winny_medland@bnz.co.nz). No cash will be held on the premises and no cash handling services will be available. |
