Dixieland comes to Mangawhai

Highly acclaimed Aussie ensemble The Dixie Street Jazz Band will perform at the Mangawhai Tavern on Thursday August 10 in a special performance to raise funds for the Mangawhai Volunteer Fire Brigade.

Comprising up to seven musicians, the band has made several return visits to New Zealand to the Paihia Jazz and Blues Festival and also performed at the former Sail Rock Cafe in Mangawhai. They promise a foot tapping, knee slapping evening.

To enhance the fundraising there will also be a small number of donated items up for auction including: Wilderness Camper Van voucher, value $1500; Auckland Jet Boat Tour 2 adults, value $198; Bliss Beauty Therapy Mangawhai treatment of your choice, value $100.

Ticket includes evening entertainment and Mangawhai Tavern scrumptious platters to share.

This will be a great night for a great cause but tickets will be limited.
