Choir to share love of music with community
The Mangawhai World Choir is again set to trill-and-thrill locals with their one-off recital of international music at the Mangawhai Museum on Monday December 14.
The group is under the tutelage of choir director and vocal coach Bert van Dijk.

Kaiwaka centre a community affair
The Kaiwaka Drop In Centre opened as a Kaiwaka Care’s initiative in July this year.
Based in the lounge at Kate’s Place opposite the Cheese Shop on SH1, the centre is open to all as a place to meet, share resources, teach, learn, have a cuppa, eat, use the wi-fi or the printer, listen or be listened to, in fact whatever is needed by the community.

Aotearoa Surf’s Che Burnett is opening the sport up to children that may not get an opportunity to try stand up paddle boarding and this event allows the community to come together.
