Auction house gets finishing touches

 

A big summer fundraiser for the Mangawhai Activity Zone (MAZ) is taking shape with the My Pad-built charity auction home almost complete.

Contractors and supporters were recently treated to drinks and nibbles and an inspection of the home.

MAZ president Colin Gallagher, in welcoming guests, paid tribute to the goodwill shown in creating the stylish home which is now fully landscaped and will be open for inspection over the holiday period prior to auction in early February.

Proceeds over and above costs will go to further the development of the MAZ, and several pieces of sport-related equipment will precede the auction so it will be a day for the community to once again become involved.
