Puhoi motorway project profiled

At the May 20 Mangawhai Combined Rebus Club meeting, president Gordon Lees promised to behave himself, and spoke to the 40 odd members and guests of some exciting trips being planned, like a boat trip down the Mahurangi River and a visit to the Chelsea Sugar Refinery.

The main speaker was Steve from the new Puhoi to Warkworth motorway development. The motorway itself is a huge and impressive project, which the fly-by drone footage showed. Steve had a large amount of technical information about the two main bridges.

Rebus member Ralph Ford presented the tale of he and wife Jacky following an eight day cruise around the numerous islands in the Maldives after their trip to India and Sri Lanka.
