Pink stalls and buckets will again brighten Mangawhai’s shopping areas this coming weekend as one of New Zealand’s nationwide charity drives with an aim to beat a deadly disease gets underway.
Now in its eighth year, the annual Mangawhai Beach School SPCA mufti-day was held on Friday September 27. The event was again run by Pippa Meagher (left) with help from Olivia Canton, both from Room 21, who wanted to continue fund raising for homeless animals.
A spectacular show of brilliant colours, gleaming chrome and rumbling engines delighted tyre kickers as over a hundred classic and custom vehicles rolled into town for the inaugural outing of a new local car club.
