We seem to have started an annual event with our article on readers’ finds or catches of this weird and wonderful creature.

Fisherman Chris Kuhn caught his trophy, around 2-metres long, in the Kerikeri Inlet on January 23 using pilchard bait. He even gave us GPS co-ordinates. If you have a special interest in the fish you could try to find your own at Lat 35.18114°S, Long 174.10608°E, WGS84. Thanks Chris!
