Rollin' on the river

The latest Mangawhai Combined Rebus Club jaunt on July 15 started with a bus ride to the old sailing ship Jane Gifford for a trip along the Mahurangi River. Despite recent storms, this trip enjoyed calm, sunny weather, and a fantastic crew.

The large Rebus group was split for the next part of the day, a double-header, visiting the Leigh marine laboratory and Goat Island Marine Discovery Centre, and lunch at the Sawmill Cafe.

Next club meeting is Thursday August 19, 2pm, at the Fagan Place Community Hall.
