Finale concert for BoxwoodFollowing a week-long musical educational program for adults and children focused on Cape Breton, Scottish, Irish and French music, folk ensemble Boxwood will play their highly anticipated annual finale concert. The concert will feature jigs, reels, airs, songs and stepdancing from some of Nova Scotia’s finest musicians: David Greenberg (Cape Breton fiddle, baroque violin), Chris Norman (flutes, small pipes), Gillian Boucher (Cape Breton fiddle and step dance), and Shelley Phillips (harp, song). Boxwood wishes to thank local, national and international partners including the Waipu Museum, The Waipu Scottish Country Dance Club, Waipu Wanderers B & B, The Auckland Scottish Fiddle Club, Culture Ireland, Dave & Marilyn Craig and all the individual supporters, volunteers and participants who make this year’s festival a success.
