Golfers outdo their rivals

Rodney College students (pictured from left) Aaron Allot, Jamie Thomas, and Jackson Oldfield have won the Northland Secondary Schools Eagles College Golf Tournament, held at Northland Golf Club in Whangarei in late March.

Jamie Thomas (Y13, 6 handicap), Aaron Allot (Y10, 30 handicap), and Jackson Oldfield (Y9, 20 handicap) won the tournament with Whangarei Girls High in second place.

The stableford competition is for affiliated golfers and included schools such as Whangarei Boys High, Whangarei Girls High, Kerikeri High, Dargaville High and more.
