Winter on its way? Refurbish with flowersForget Me Not Florist moved their shop home to 25 Bertram Street , Warkworth from the Riverside Arcade location on March 1. It’s the local Art Deco house on the corner of Bertram and Hexham Street.
At the bottom of the section is a very large shed that was the original plumbers over 40 years ago. The little shop in front has now been done up and converted into the florist shop with plentiful parking right to the door - very helpful for elderly customers. And they are just around the corner from the Warkworth Medical Centre. We often don’t realise how versatile flowers can be. Although they each have their season there are always flowers in bloom and with colours or scent to suit any occasion. Flowers are the universal gift. Local or exotic, for the home or office, for a baby or a birthday, gift baskets to bouquets, for an anniversary or special occasion or just because! You don’t really need a reason to give flowers, or even buy a bunch to brighten up your own home and they can be further enhanced with soft toys, balloons or chocolates to liven up any occasion. Flowers are a gift that bring equal pleasure to those who give as well as those who receive and can simply be about creating an environment that makes you feel good. Ngaire Hopwood and her florists have a wealth of knowledge and experience in the preparation and presentation of their blooms be they for ornamental or fragrance, and which are hand-picked, fresh daily, can attend to delivery and cater for events from simple to classic, or from trendy to avant-garde. Can’t make it to the shop? Just pick up the phone and Forget Me Not Florist will have your order delivered anywhere in the country. They also do their best to ‘keep it local’ with many of their roses and flowers sourced from within the near north area. |
