BIG RANGE: NorthAble’s mobile disability product van will visit Mangawhai monthly.

It can happen to us all, at any time and at any place. Whether your disability is long or short term, NorthAble has the information, equipment and service to minimize your inconvenience and assist with your rehabilitation.

NorthAble’s mobile information and equipment van travels throughout Northland – Te Tai Tokerau – on a regular schedule. It can also be seen at local events, presentations and expos. 

We can provide information on disability services and issues and offer free advice on the wide range of equipment and aids for daily living that we have available for purchase. There is no obligation to buy. We also do home demonstrations with some of our product.

Our product range includes:

• Mobility Aids – scooters, wheelchairs, walking frames, crutches, walking sticks and replacement tips.

• Lift-out chairs, hip and rehab chairs, bed and chair raisers.

• Shower stools and chairs, commodes, toilet seat raisers.

• Transfer belts and sheets.

• Pressure and pain relief cushions, pillows and lumbar support.

• Continence products, mattress and chair protectors.

• Aids for daily living – handrails, easy reachers, tap turners, jar openers, cutlery, pill splitters, dressing aids – and more!

With scheduled monthly visits to Mangawhai, we’ve got you covered! And on the off chance that we don’t, then Dave will only be too glad to come right to your door. Just let him know and arrange a time that suits you both. 

Mangawhai is visited the first Friday of the month from 12-1pm parked at the Community Centre in Fagan Place, Mangawhai Heads.
