Burlesque promises amazing dancers and sultry singers The Northern Dolls are proud to present the sequel to 2012's sell out production, “film noir”.
“Little Black Book” follows the hilariously tragic tale of lovable burlesque granny Gladass's discovery of her late husbands box of ‘memories’. As each precious keepsake is discovered Gladass begins to wonder if she really knew her sweet mild mannered husband at all. Was Henry the loving, faithful man she knew him to be, or was he a man of secrets covering up his sordid past? All will be revealed in this slapstick comedy show that will not skimp on the glamorous entertainment style that the Northern Dolls have built up a reputation for. This will be another production packed with amazing dancers, sultry singers and burlesque classic performances – the best Dolls show yet. There’s a surprise ending to the show featuring Charlie Chapstick, Cherry Devine, Dahlia Deco, Miss Terious, Miss Diamond Diva, and Gladass. A group of performers from Whangarei with different backgrounds, the Northern Dolls have been singing and dancing together since 2011 with seven sell-out shows so far. The Dolls are excited to announce that due to popular demand, “Little Black Book” will go on tour for the first time.
